action on stem cell donor: Help for leukemia
TSV Dachau start typing a campaign to help leukemia patients.
On 13 July, previously held an information session at Klinikum Dachau.
In preparation for the typing action of TSV Dachau for detecting potential stem cell donors, the hospital offers Dachau on 13 July at 19 clock at a briefing. There is no obligation to inform interested parties about the process of a stem cell donation. Several doctors explain the medical details, a leukemia patient, and two former stem cell donors report on their experiences, as stated in the press release of Amper Kliniken AG.
The event will take place in the conference center of the hospital. The typing action itself is on 18 July on the grounds of the TSV 1865 carried out. From leukemia (blood cancer) diagnosed in Germany each year 9000-11000 people, up to ten percent of those affected are children and young people under 15. If untreated, this vicious disease lead to death within a few months, it is curable in many cases, however, if the patient receives a suitable time donation of stem cells.
The Dachau Josef Szintai has donated, and he is proud that He thus was able to save a human life. Its quality was the reason for the TEC member, the trigger action typing in his sports club. The TEC will be on 18 offering in July along with the U23 Lion (TSV 1860 Munich), a sporting program.
